Lincoln drop-off & pick-up as of Jan. 16, 2018

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The City of Alva is beginning demolition and reconstruction of the water tower located at the intersection of Young and Davis street. This will interfere with our usual circle drive schedule.

In order to accommodate the project and ensure the safety of our students, we will be making some changes to our pick up and drop off. Beginning on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, parents that transport their children to school will need to drop off students in the morning and pick up in the afternoon at the Lincoln playground. You will enter the playground at the north entrance on Hart Street and exit the one-way street the city installed for us on the south side of the playground (which exits to the highway). This will avoid any congestion on Davis street. All tardies and early pick ups may still continue at circle drive.

We also ask that you refrain from parking alongside the road in front of the school on Davis street. If you need to come in to the school, please park in the parking lot across the street from the office. To avoid congestion during assemblies, we ask that all parents park on the playground.
